Dead For Days was formed in 2000 by Rick Hernandez, Kevin Schenk, Zack Smolenski, and Potty. Their original name was In Pieces, but after discovering that name was taken, they switched to Dead For Days. In 2010, after various line-up changes which saw Rick being the only remaining original member of the group, the then-current line-up decided it was time to break from the past and put Dead For Days to rest. In March 2010, the final line-up of Dead For Days regrouped as Reign Inferno.
