"Abyss" is the sophomore album of Infecting the Swarm and combines the established brutality with a classic lovecraftian atmosphere and mind wrecking riffs. A concept which is directly connecting Pathogenesis and Abyss isn't just found within the lyrics but can also be heard musically. This is truely a new level of intelligent writing for the band.

"Abyss" is a giant step forward for the band. The style of "Pathogenesis" was used as a basis to build and album that is an improvement in every single way.
